Mainely Meat Bbq On Dreamwood Hill

We ordered take out from here, partly because of the convenience of it being so close to our hotel. Everything was delicious. The food here was so good that we decided to go back for dinner again the next day. If you like southern style BBQ you'll dig this place! Their Ribs were falling off the bone, and smoked to perfection. The lobster rolls were on point! I highly recommend everything!

We stopped by Mainely Meat BBQ on a Sunday afternoon around 4 PM for an early dinner. If you're curious about their menu, well, it's mainly meat. Delicious, smoked, seasoned , meat. I had a sampler platter and my wife had the smoked pulled turkey, both with potato salad, coleslaw, and baked beans. Everything was delicious, our server was fantastic, and it's the best fountain drink I have had in the island! They even have a page in their menu dedicated to DOGS! Yes, you can order food for your dog! Clean restrooms, plenty of parking, including handicap parking.they also have a section for non-meat eaters labeled, the food your food eats.

After a 6 hour drive we parked the camper and got situated. Per recommendation of our parking escort, they wanted to make sure we made the turns properly with the big camper, we walked over with our pup for a decent meal. We weren’t disappointed. He wanted a beer and ribs. I wanted to try the crab cakes but got the pulled turkey as well. I love the menu, it’s a fun read. The beans, the turkey, the ribs (I got to try a little), the cornbread, coleslaw, and potato salad (he liked it but not my favorite) were all great. The pup got a bowl of water while we were here (along with a few scraps from our neighbors and us…he seemed to enjoy everything as well). The food, our waitress Emilie, and the atmosphere were great. A perfect spot after a long day.

Myself and a couple friends stopped here after deep sea fishing in Bar Harbor. The wafting smells of the smoker grill drew us in. The food and flavors did not disappoint. It was just as mouth watering flavors as the scents from the road that enticed us to try them out after our trip. Absolutely delicious. Mouth watering. They know there Bbqing and let me say I'm picky about cornbread which I didn't even get to till the next day and it was still moist and delicious! There was live music which was an added bonus along with there is an ice cream place right next door. If you haven't filled yourself up definitely check out the ice cream options You won't be disappointed. Fast, friendly service at both places.

We stopped at Mainely Meats at Dreamwood and were so glad we did! It’s a cozy little spot with both indoor and outdoor seating, plus fun extras like cornhole and giant Jenga to keep everyone entertained. It looks like they even have live music on some nights, which we’d love to catch next time. The Turkey Melt was absolutely delicious — perfectly grilled and full of flavor — and everything came out super quick. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area!

This place was an absolute delight during our visit to Acadia! My husband enjoyed his blueberry ale draft beer while I had a perfectly crafted cocktail. We shared a half rack of ribs that were fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with smoky, rich flavor. The fish sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The vibe was so good and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual, satisfying meal. Highly recommend for BBQ lovers and anyone looking for excellent drinks and delicious food!

Good onion rings, sauce was on the sweet side for our taste. Pulled pork was tender, and the only reason for pulling a star down is due to sauce selection. There were 2 sauces - a sweet bbq sauce and buffalo sauce. We had expected more selections, but besides that, service was great, plenty of seating outside and indoor.

Pulled pork platter was alright. Pork itself isn’t super flavorful, but the portion is good and the sweet sauce helps. They also have a vinegar based sauce if you’re into that. Potato salad is mustard based as it should be. Cole slaw was also fine. Blueberry pie was fantastic. Must order. Single person bathrooms. Not a huge indoor area, mostly 4 person booths. Probably have to sit outside if you have more than that. Reasonably priced, good service, overall not bad. Would come back.
